Wow. This woman is so beautiful. The soft focus and sepia makes her look almost unreal. This is mesmerizing.
It deserved the 3 nominations; Sound Editing, Sound Mixing, and Visual Effects. Nobody can walk out of that film and say otherwise. It hasn’t been nominated in categories like best picture or best director, and it should be judged only for what it was nominated for. And yes, I do think this was a piece of shit movie. But the the sound editors and mixers shouldn’t suffer because the dodgy, first-draft, lazy script, and deserves credit for excellent work.

Beyoncé - Run The World (Girls)
Such a cool music video, pretty simple too. Personally, I would put this up with the Smooth Criminal music video; so much style. Only Beyonce could pull off such a feminist’s wet dream of a song, probably because women as fierce as herself do run the world. I love the line “My persuasion can build a nation”. She isn’t as clumsy as men, and doesn’t need to use force to control something, she is much more nefarious than that. She has something that despite all your muscle, which is all men have, you are powerless against.
